Parked on lane to east at 50446 81264 over a gate and up field. Summit seems to be in the brambles behind the fenced little area that looks like it is to do with pheasants.clivevilla15/04/2023
Solo from roadside parking on B5282 at Sandside. Haverbrack Bank & Milnthorpe Hill. Lovely area; unremarkable summits.ADT19/02/2023
Plenty of free parking round the church. Footpath, slightly overgrown, leads up to a stone squeezer barrier and then into easily accessible field. Unobstructed walk to the top but a wire fence needs to be climbed to reach the summit.moorsman24/09/2022

From Milnthorpe Square, field path then unhindered deviation to summit copse with mix of deciduous tress pheasant pen and not much in the way of a decisive high point. Nice windows of view through the trees.RichardM02/09/2021

Walt Unsworth, Mountain Writer (e.g Everest), Founder of Cicerone Press and The Great Outdoors (TGO) and former editor of Climber lives at Harmony Hall in the shadow of these 'Lesser Ranges'. Wooded summit via track from Milnthorpe with Darren on a 6 tump expedition around Silverdale. Lingered leaving Milnthorpe by reading numerous green plaques on every other building giving titbits of local history - an excellent idea - favourite was the story of Dr Hopkinson who in 1954 became world known for claiming to have lit his home from an atomic egg ! In court he was found guilty of stealing electricity from the public supply.Chris Pearson30/07/2016
