A circular walk from Street Gate up the bridleway towards Arncliff Cote, then onto Clapham High Mark, across to the Parson's Pulpit, then west to the new summit for me at Height, and down to the Arncliff bridleway, then back by Middle House Farm, over Great Close Hill to Street Gate. Then a quick nip up Abbot Hills. 12.7km with 570m ascent taking 3h 40m.silverwolf_alan25/12/2022

Solo from NT car park @ SD 894 658. Great Close Hill & Abbot Hills. Neither particularly inspiring by Yorkshire Dales standards.ADT09/08/2021
Coming down from Parson's Pulpit, was dicombobulated by Memory Map on phone showing POI for this hill W of Middle House Farm. Scrutiny showed where hill actually is - easy crossing of fields via gates and bridge across stream and then directly up hillhenryfm30/06/2021

Easy parking at Street Gate at 905656 - N. along bridleway to bend by Great Close Plantation - Left track & picked up a faint path through rocks; path becomes more distinct over the final 250m or so to the hollowed-out ancient cairn & shelter. (S)gerrybowes07/12/2020
1/5 From Malham Tarn, Great Close Hill, down to Middle Farm, round South of walls to get Clapham High Mark, Parson's Pulpit and Proctor High Mark, then down to Mastiles Lane and back to pick up Abbot Hills. A nice walk 5 hours total. Only one small easy wall, just directly West of the summit of Proctor High Mark. Key to that one was to walk up to the two stones balanced on each other, after Parson's Pulpit, and curve round the natural valley to find this wall.nickywood117/10/2020
First of Circuit including Parson's Pulpit and Proctor High Mark. Started from Street Gatejustin99916/10/2020

From the tarn by grassy W flank. Hollowed out tumulus(?) at summit. Good views. Hot and thirsty.RichardM25/06/2020
Round of Clapham High Mark, Parsons Pulpit, Proctor High Mark, Great Close Hill and Abbot Hills from Street Gate. 9 miles, 3 hours 26m. A lot of the route was pathless but it is still fairly easy going.clivevilla08/06/2020
Roadside parking on Malham Moor Road (roughly SD 955 652). First visited Malham Moor, before setting out in a big arc to the north to bag Proctor High Mark, Clapham High Mark and Parson's Pulpit. A few awkward wall crossings where no convenient stile or gate. Joined Monk's Road from Arncliff and followed it to Middle House Farm. Then popped up the super little Great Close Hill and later Abbot's Hill, before returning along Mastiles Lane. 20km with 670m ascent in 6 hours. (S)silveracorn_alan16/05/2020

2nd top of 10 today on a 34.5km route from Malham to Settle climbing up beside Malham Cove then across to Abbot Hills easily descending to track then ascending directly just past a copse of conifers to get a good view of Malham Tarn before arriving at the cairn. Descent NE to track then over gate avoiding the sheep in the adjacent field to climb wall in corner and then over pasture to access land followed by a herd of curious sheep but left behind in the rougher terrain as i ascended to Clapham High Mark.....Dazingdale25/03/2018
