Easy parking on open road to SW nr tunnel entrance. Short walk straight to top on feint grass path. Nice views. Look out of Lammerside Castle ruin to north in valley below. Back down same way then lunch in car as bit to cold on fell.Hillsidenick15/11/2017

Plentiful parking on the minor road to the south at the point where it crosses the (underground) railway. A simple walk to the top from here. No real effort required.moorsman08/03/2014
After High Seat ridge from Sails, driving home. Stopped at road col and strolled through wild ponies to summit top to get views back down over Pendragon castle to the hills walked/Outhgill, and NW to Eden valley/KS in setting sun. Glorious.nordicstar19/06/2013
