66km cycle ride from home to visit 7 of East Durham's esoteric hill tops. Great way to bag hills. Left bike in gateway at top of road south of Wooley Hill. Followed wall to hill crest.John Lee10/10/2017
Took moorsman's advice and went up to the wall from the road junctionmadaddo07/04/2017
Initially tried to climb from the road to the west. Had to give up due to head high, vicious gorse. A much easier way is from the lay-by at the road junction, over the fence and directly upwards. Under 10 minutes return.moorsman29/08/2016

Several laybys in minor road to S. Gate into field then followed wall to crest, very similar to Billy Hill. Attracted a flock of 'woollies'.Aye Jimmy20/12/2014
