From gate to SE (just space to park without obstructing gate). Over grassy pasture to HP and gate into next field to visit trig. Very clear views except where there were showers, outliers like Dufton Pike showing up well but cloud base around 2000 ft. With Pete. | pwheeler | 17/03/2024 |
Longest ascent yet logged! - from NE 219m road junction. pastures and gates. Tump and trig. A 2km long x 1 km wide low hill divided up into 40 fields -that's lot of walls and fences. Only 4 field visited on my route. The hill lies above the conservation village of Kirkoswald (KO to the locals). It used to be in Eden District Council of Cumbria until last year when Cumbria 'disappeared' but now finds itself included in the mouthful Westmorland and Furness Unitary Authority (for now) | Chris Pearson | 24/10/2023 |

Parking very difficult but a good spot is on the verge at the road junction to the east ...at OS spot height 246. Walk north up the road to the first field boundary where a gate gives access into fields. There is a gate between the first and second field then climb the gate into the summit field at the next junction. | moorsman | 04/08/2022 |

As others gateway to south takes you straight to the summit area rather than the trig. No field boundaries. Ten minutes max. | nickywood1 | 17/07/2021 |
