1/5 A round from Hellifield Car Park. Up to Hellifield Haw, continue up Haw Lane, fork off left on footpath to climb then access Newton Moor Top Open Access Land, descend North onto the Langber Lane and use footpaths back to Lingber Hill, then down to the road and found a way up to Crane Field Hill by going to the lodge before the farm, through the gate to right of their drive and double back South West to go under first tunnel under railway (this avoids a nasty deep drainage ditch). Back on lane to Hellifield detouring at last railway bridge to pick up Waspber Hill from the West of the hill. 4 hours.nickywood103/02/2024

After Barker bank from Scaleber force, I parked up in car park near pharmacy and indulged in coffee and cake at the cafe across the road then over crossing, over gate and straight up. Once fence to cross then really nice summit area close to gnarled birch tree. Great views all round. Back the same way then up the busy road towards Waspber Hill...Dazingdale12/09/2020

From corner just north of railway to the south, mistakenly thinking it was one of the new ones and only realising later that I'd already done it from the north year and half before..!! Idiot.!!vegibagger21/04/2020

Hellifield Haw - Newton Moor Top from GR: SD 85652 56530ronaldo33326/11/2017
12 mile circuit from Giggleswick. Short solo diversion out and back dash to bag this Tump then scooted down to catch up L and Martha the spaniel at Long Preston church. Undetected by me, a low flying Tornado jet silently crept up from behind until with that sudden almighty scream it was upon me -scaring the wits out of me for a second. It's all weather capability being tested by proper Yorkshire drizzle today, and its all grey colour being the ideal camouflage for today's gloom.Chris Pearson26/10/2017
From second gate as AJ, now no barbed wire to cross.Moorponder08/04/2017

Parked at end of Haw Lane, crossed railway line and followed lane until just past a bench. Directly up hill from here, only one barbed wire fence. Pleasant rounded summit with a few windswept trees.Aye Jimmy14/04/2014
On a walk from Hellifield Station and its warm cafe, to Settle on a wet and cool Sunday. Relatively easy going and Scaleber Foss a highlight.JOHNS23/02/2014
Parked in car park in Hellifield and walked up Haw Lane, over railway then climbed over second gate covered in barbed wire to access hill. One bit of wooden fencing to climb to gain summit with some sheep, trees and a tired Martin Richardson.Dugswell209/12/2013
