With Steve, on a glorious spring day. A splendid long circular walk of Lower Wharfedale from Weeton, visiting Almscliff Crag and then on to North Rigton, Kirkby Overblow, Netherby and back along the R Wharfe. Reached the summit having led Pete Hemmings up Franklands Green Crack (VS 4C) which features in 'Classic Rock'. The route is described in rockfax as'A major classic, the luminous crack is usually drier than it looks - pity about the pigeon poo.
