In the midst of a still smouldering moor which has recently seen an extensive fire. Parked not far from start of track and headed up to trigpoint. After walking the quarry circuit with Lesley from Cauldon where i ascended Hemmings Low for the 2nd time and after a drink in the 'fammous Yew Tree Inn' we headed onto the A5023 the took the Morridge road, parking up as others on a pull-in next to the intersection of roads then a 5 minute saunter to the trig.
