Started at NT car park walked to Mam Tor summit from there along path to Barker bank onto Lose hill. We then walked down into Hope picked up the path for Win hill up to the summit. We decided to do the steep path which wasn't as bad as it looks! Rewarded with the view over LadyBower reservoir. From there we walked back into Hope to Castleton up through Winnats pass to the NT car park to finish. Total 14miles.Louiejay09/06/2019

From the SW on the motorway that runs up to Mam Tor and on to Barker Bank and Lose Hill. Lovely spring sunshine most of the day. Returned by same route, though K and M skipped the second ascent of Mam Tor, instead heading down to the abandoned road near the Blue John Caverns where X and I picked them up.Herbert Anchovy25/03/2018

Having sacked off the walk to Machester idea due to poor weather on the Friday night, we opted to still stretch out to Edale. Getting dropped off at Redmires, we walked to Stanage, round and along to Bamford edge, dropped down to Lady Bower. We then undulated to Win Hill and Lose hill, to go along the rideg to Mam Tor then finally drop into Edale. 6hrs: 22km; 1095mByronHaywood18/06/2016
