Evening walk, parked at Newton Fell car park and walked around the quarry to Waddington Fell summit, then trig. Then made a circular route to Marl Hill Moor summit over the open access moor, no paths spotted. My first time exploring this moor. /Dmeltdiceburg13/09/2023
Here for the trigpoint, TP:UK log below, came from the mast so had to climb the wall and high point. Working quarry, so I decided to go via the mast track. However access land restricted, although I met the owner of the land and he gave me permission to walk up the mast track and to the trigpoint.thejackrustles19/07/2023
From parking at B6478 road summit. Round on path near quarry rim. Though working for gravel, it was more interesting than intrusive, with black-headed gulls taking over some of the man made pools. Fine views, worthwhile 35 mins. With Pete.pwheeler22/03/2023

From car park beside cattle grid after climbing Easington Fell. Followed fence around edge of working quarry.vuirich28/04/2022
Approached from Easington Hill across good moorland tracks. Sadly the quarry is unsightly as is the mask just below the top. Climbed from the road using the track to the mast. Then a not very nice walk back to Clitheroe along the road.trimarc205/04/2022
3/4 Easington Fell, then along North behind the woodland to Beacon Hill (walks nicely along there) then back through woodland to car park area over the road to Waddington Fell then down off piste, to the track to climb via Stone Fold and Quad Bike Tracks to Crag Stones and eventually hill number 4 Marl Hill Moor. Then yomped a direct line home over Waddington Fell again - which was tough terrain but better than predicted 5 hours.nickywood115/01/2022

Walked in from West Bradford up along Moor Road to the top of Easington Fell. From there across the moor to the road and around the quarry to the pillar. In my opinion this is the best viewpoint I’ve seen from a Lancashire top Also had an old trig in the form of a Pivot Benchmark on a boulder next to the pillarWayne Mac06/06/2020
Parked at cattle grid. Path up past picnic benches. Clear path to summit. Trig point lower.CJM12/03/2020

HP is at wall junction, possibly just over wall, near Trig. Easy walk over heather moorland from small free roadside carpark. Extensive views on cold blustery sunny day.Denise 06/01/2018
Followed around quarry fence from car park, doesn't look a lot left to quarry inside the existing fence so hope the summit survives any future expansion. Heather moorland. Trig lowerRichardM06/01/2018

Via quarry gate and man-made ridge. The cries of seagulls echoed round the quarry like the cries of pterosaurs.Wycombe Wanderer17/07/2016
Car park by cattle grid- there and back. Not as muddy as I expected, except where a 4x4 had churned up the ground.Andrew Pearson11/02/2016
Easy parking alongside the cattle grid. Anyone wanting to eat sandwiches before setting off will find picnic tables 200m along the track (overlooking the adjacent hills). Easy walk along a good track.moorsman23/10/2015

With Jo, from WF Quarry cp: took clivevilla’s advice and followed track to Easington Fell, then prows from ladder stile to Beacon Hill. Returning same way to Tagglesmire and across moor by fp to quarry and onto Waddington Fell (thought ground east side of wall looked higher so crossed wall just in case) before returning alongside fence to car. Weather, cloudy, sunny intervals, windy, mild, good visibility.amblerbob14/04/2015
