Parked on Barlow Hill and walked down through Greasley Hollow. Along to Hawkslee Farm and then on to Bosley Minn. Not the quickest route but a pleasant walk right along the ridge. Didn’t see a soul.hannah&steven19/01/2021
Drove over both summits in foggy darkness. Car fills road and pasture falls way either side. Stood on HP. easy but unsatisfying.Denise 30/10/2020
Drove along the narrow road/track which crosses the two contour rings. Got out at each but despite the large bright moon unable to say which felt the higher.RichardM30/10/2020
Drive by. Really nice views. Tired road, but fine for a nice steady one on a beautiful eveningNicky C25/10/2020

Bosley Minn and Croker Hill circular. Evening walk on a freezing night for the time of year. Needed a curry to warm up afterwards.Lazylizzie29/04/2018
Another one of those daft hills where you can choose to drive almost to the summit.. Hazy views tiday and the domineering Comms Tower a bit of an eyesore really.stig_nest14/04/2018

Christmas morning hike. Bosley Minn, Croker Hill [Sutton Common], Gawsworth Common. No time for Whitemoor Hill...access difficult on approach. Parked just beside Minn End Lane beside A54 just on grass, let on to two local farmers passing before leaving. With John & Daisy. Clear sunny day and felt very warm.Rotorslap25/12/2016
Parked in the wide bit by the cattle grid on the minor road and walked the short distance back to hp.clivevilla13/12/2016
Actually on the road which appears to be disintegrating into ash and cinder. Great viewpoint. Three gates to open and close.Campbell Singer03/11/2016
Parked at SJ 94109 67310 by first gate on Minn-End-Lane. Combined walk with Croker Hill. Not sure where highest point was, so tramped around quite a wide area at the top. With Julie.David Evans10/09/2016

Cold, wet and misty on the top. Muddy and sludgy at the bottom. Still, got some good views though. Fantastic pint at the Wincle Brewery afterwards too.W111KYB13/12/2015

Parked on grass verge above cattle grid on minor road at SJ 94120 67393. Bagged Croker Hill first then Bosley Minn from same parking spot. Be sure to visit the southern 385m contour as I'm fairly sure the highest point is within this contour at SJ 91438 66555 (fence post beside road). Alternative summit is ground 10m west of fence within northern 385m contour at SJ 94171 66702.David Gradwell19/05/2013
A mammoth 30 second walk from the road!moorsman29/01/2013
After coming down off Croker Hill, I decided to avoid the hideously dangerous road and walked across this lovely ridge instead, dipping down to the river and a ruined farm after passing the summit and heading for Buxton.DanHolme11/08/2012
I walked over this Hill on the Gritstone trail, an Epic 25 mile walk from Bottom of the oven through Macclesfield forest to Teggs nose where i picked up the trail again and followed it all the way to Congleton! It was tough going with the rain and wind sapping my strength.Dazingdale03/06/2012

On a scrappy walk from Rushden Spencer. Gritstone Way was ok, the view from this summit is very fine, but the other thing I remember was lots of electric fences. With the 2 Steves.pwheeler09/06/1979
