| A straight track to rough grassland (gate) above the pretty touristy village of Hartinton with village green and duckpond lying on the River Dove. Until 2009 Hartington was the supplier of 25% of the world output of Stilton cheese until bought out and closed down by a rival with the loss of 190 jobs, but in 2012 a small dynamic and entrepreneurial group of 5 have set up a new company called the Hartington Creamery. | Chris Pearson | 26/07/2015 |
| Last hill of 5 today starting at Tissington and ending at YHA Hartington; Reynards cave,Hawks low,Johnson's Knoll,Wolfscote hill and from Reynards lane took track heading NE and then NW onto Highfield lane.Climbed over wall and walked on E side abd then under barbed wire fence sandwiches a dry stone wall;Jumped over this and located summit which is a broad grassy knoll.
