From the N. As moorsman, parked opposite the clubhouse at SD 89025 17387. No golfing today, but may be an issue when course is busy. Parking area 150m to NW is a good alternative - Along track to farm & then less than 100m to large summit stone. Fairly flat summit area.gerrybowes21/11/2023

Watergrove reservoir, took track west below dam to waterworks and turned south to pick up track, barn field lane. No sign of any footpaths at Sald fold so followed track to access land. PBW over golf course to pylons, then up to summit. Returned over Brown Wardle and Freeholds top.Flatfield09/07/2022

3rd hill of 7 today on a route from Rochdale to Littleborough, climbing Bagslate Moor & Gandy Brow onto P B'way before veering off to visit summit with rock, then trig and large boulder next to Golf course and then back onto the PB and onwards to Brown Wardle hill saying Hi to a gaggle of geese and 2 Alpacas first.Dazingdale08/01/2017
