approached Trig from grassy ridge to S; Gritstone way bypasses the summit in favour of the lower White Nancy Folly, which we also visited. Foggy. Not the day to assess my late Uncle's claim that, 'It's the best view in the world'. (He lived in Bollington.)Denise 30/10/2020
No views today. Pity the summit and trig are just off the Gritstone Trail.RichardM30/10/2020

I walked past the trig point with the Nottingham HF walking group. I was given the task of leading at very short notice so had to sort out a route. We approached from Bull hill lane to Kerridge end and then a track leads up past Marksend quarries to the ridge. The views are great. We had our picnic lunch beside White Nancy, that was really nice. Afterwards we descended the steep slope and profiled round to a different footpath and followed the gritstone trail back to Teggs nose country parkDazingdale20/05/2012

The first of several walks up this hill. A lovely snowy day so we drove to Bollington and walked across the fine, open ridge to the summit. Returned on bridleway-partly along a lane- on its E side. There was a foot of snow on this sparking sunny day. With JEL and SJBpwheeler09/12/1990
