Parked in pull-in to south, up through trees, over low wall & under a single strand of fencing (electric?) - Across horse field to spot height location at around SE 16125 11630, but high point could anywhere.gerrybowes06/01/2024
Nearby woods popular with locals. Domed summit field has horses and electric fence. HP unclear, wall by mapped SH has gone and this seems lower than wall with copse at NE corner/ side of field. Grey day. From Thurstonland.Denise 27/01/2023
From road to east, path then ducked under elec fence. Arbitrary high point.Nick Canute10/06/2022

14:30, 3 degrees, overcast, brisk south-westerlies. Via very cabby path from Thurstonland with Miranda. Good bit of escarpment walking, with view of snow-dusted hills to south and west. Friendly horses in summit field. On to Haw Cliff.Wycombe Wanderer15/12/2019

Gently walk up through two fields of horses and duck under a couple of electric fences.vegibagger06/01/2019
Space for a car or two due south on the minor road. Take the path behind the seat as this requires crossing only a single, easy wall. Summit now in the middle of the field as the fence/wall shown on the map has now been removed.moorsman08/05/2018
Good parking for 1 car on minor road to SE. Straight up through beech woods and out into a paddock for the HP.jonglew27/12/2017
Just enough room to park safely on Hall Ing Road and then easy walk up through pretty beech wood and over wall to flat field top.Campbell Singer05/12/2017

Pleasant open woodland from SW then very flat summit, visiting various options for high point (a case of take your pick).RobertP16/07/2017
A 'summit' not worthy of the name. Only justification for an 'ascent' would be a 'visit' en-route between Thurstonland Hill and Castle Hill (both good hills). In doing so, use the superb distinct permissive path (not marked on map) which follows the zig-zag woods from Hall Ing Road (SE161115)to Farnley Tyas village. From this you can hop over the wall at 16072 11592 and choose your own highest blade of grass!Neil Midgley19/02/2017
From Brockholes, along railway footpath then up the hill. Through woods to field and flat summit.eyesofthenorth01/01/2017
