Last and 9th hill of the day on a 17 mile walk from Marsden station to Mossley, climbing Pule hill, Ox Hey top, Harrop Edge, Delph Hill, Badger Edge, Wharmton, Quick Edge and now with head-torch, Holly Bank to Mossley road. I took track South but veered off to climb direct over one fence to obvious summit. Checked both sides of the fence. Impressive pits, even in the dark. This hill may have been a hill-fort. Dropped down East to then head NE on fp into estate and then track to the station. This hill completes Tameside!Dazingdale29/10/2016
from Lydgate church, Quick Edge, Holly Bank, Luzley Brows, canal towpath then up Wharmton, back to start.joseph mitchell30/05/2016
A 3 Tump circular walk / jog -Quick Edge - Luzley Brows -Holly Bank. Good dog walkers path all along grassy ridge to top.Chris Pearson05/08/2015
Nice wee wander up through pasture on windy Sunday... weaving through eastern Manchester en route to meet son Jamie.vegibagger17/05/2015
From Mossley, took the path sw from the end of Barngate Drive until it crosses a fence halfway up the hillside then went straight up to the top. Met a local dog walker on the brow and there's a reasonable path along going northwards, despite the odd barbed wire fence. Continued on to Hartshed Pike and Quick Edge for a pleasant short circuit.Jake99420/02/2015

From Luzley Road which runs SSE out of Mossley Cross. Parked near f/p sign 'Mossley Brow 3/4 mile'. Followed edge around to barbed wire fence, over this, up to summit near fence and shallow pits.Aye Jimmy11/05/2014
