1 of 2 starting at Ogden reservoir with my 4 lads. Last time we were here was 2 year ago in the height of lockdown. Round from dick hill under m62 and skirted around church hill. Followed track up towards here then across open field to summit. Somewhere near the fence lineThe-Z-Man25/09/2022

Midday, 8 degrees, overcast, stiff southerlies. From south. 6 months of rain + 17 horses = ridiculously cabby fields.Wycombe Wanderer14/02/2020

30 minute return trip from the large parking area beyond Tunshill Golf Club. Down the M62 steps and across several field to Heights Barn Farm. Summit only just visible from the farm access road so crossed field and through a wooden gate to reach highest point.moorsman07/03/2019

Spectacular walk from Dick Hill under the M62. I love the network of footpaths in this area. Solo.Dangerous Dave18/06/2018
Parking: (For Heights Barn Hill and Dick Hill). Lots of snow so parked on Kiln Lane SD 93371 13190, otherwise would have parked as David Gradwell by Golf Clubhouse. Clockwise circular walk, Heights Barn Hill first - Again some very large snowdrifts on parts of the route.David Evans04/03/2018

Parked for free on the road at SD 93595 15580 then used gates and over a couple of fences to gain summit of Cleggswood Hill. Then on towards Hollingworth Hill using gates from the bridleway to the south. Then onward to Heights Barn Hill via footpaths then onto Dick Hill via bridge over motorway. A great 4 Tump walk in a very popular area.Dugswell204/02/2017
3rd hill of 5 today on route from Littleborough to Milnrow (staying at a private house via Airbnb). I climbed Cleggswood hill and Hollingsworth hill, down to lane beside lake, fp to static caravan park, fp onto Deep lane (rutted holly lined path) branching off via fp SE but keeping high to Summit near fenceline. Easy descent back to fp, one field then onto rough track profiling around Castle Hill.Dazingdale03/12/2016

This hill has been done a few times over the last forty years of living here but I wouldn't set out with it as my objective. There are much better walks nearby.Aimless Rambler02/11/2013
Excellent parking beside narrow tarmac lane to south at SD 94180 13173. Took public footpath to weird stile at SD 94211 13662 then followed ruined wall/fence for short distance to highest point at SD 94168 13647( very close to 239m spot height on 10k geograph map). We were in full view of Heights Barn Farm so didn't linger.David Gradwell30/06/2013

Cycle-bagging ride from Tandle Hill to Walsden. Very pleasant ride over Deep Lane. Left the bike to quickly seek the top by the path on the east side.Jake99414/06/2012
