Met Lindsey at Broxton roundabout picnic area for a sunny day out in Cheshire. After walking up Harthill and Raw Head, we drove to Bulkeley and parked on the verge of Mill Lane at SJ 5295 5500. We followed the woodland paths north up Peckforton Gap. After the derelict Lodge we turned south up through the trees to join the Sandstone Trail. The summit is approx 100 yards from an info board (great view across the plain from here). We continued southwest along the scarp then doubled back down to the cars.Skip21/06/2020

Large dedicated area for parking along the road around the Bulkeley Mill T-junction. A path leads through a gate in the wall opposite and turns immediately left. Keep on this track as far as the signpost for the Sandstone Trail on the col. Here, permissive paths lead towards, but do not cross the summit. A short detour into the trees is required.moorsman06/03/2020

Justifiably popular, even on a grey January afternoon. Levelish summit area in open deciduous woodland - Sweet Chestnut, Oak, Birch and a few Scots Pines. High point rock in leaf litter on SW edge.RichardM13/01/2019
Parking for a few cars at SJ 5290 5548. Walked NW to Peckforton Lodge (under offer and has a cut benchmark), then into woodland near enough due S for a good track up to top of this hill. Backtracked to the Lodge for Peckforton Point.jonglew23/11/2018
