Cycle from Sheffield. Easy visit in the rain having stopped for lunch beside the impressively large Waterloo 'bottle' kiln just to the SE. A gloomy grey damp day.RichardM22/11/2018

Very quick bag. Nice area.Live30/01/2018
Walked from Keppel's Column. Fields clay and incredibly muddy. Top is on edge of housing estate but a much nicer knoll just inside the Wood would make a better summit if it were 3m higher. Walked part way then caught bus to Swinton station for train home.IanHHill30/12/2017
Short walk from car !Ramblingpaul24/10/2017
Easy bag from the road end. It's finding Boyd Road that's the fun if you're not local!moorsman09/05/2017

Got some strange looks from local residents in Boyd Road as I parked up walked to high point, satisfied myself it was the HP and returned to my car. Nice Tree.PeterD21/06/2016
5th hill of 6 today on a challenging 20+ mile walk from Sheffield to Conisbrough sstation with Lexi Rue my partner's Labradoodle. We climbed Parkwood Springs, Wincobank, Keppel's column, and Hoober's hill before taking a series of foor footpaths and minor lanes to lead to footpath climbing through the woods, at the top we took the footpath curving round leading to Boyd road and the summit right next to the Horse Chestnut tree.Dazingdale12/04/2016
From Boyd Road. Could qualify as one of the easiest TuMPs.Campbell Singer25/03/2016

Parked in Newhill to the north and walked into Wath Wood where the exit onto Boyd Road beside Horse Chestnut tree is the high point with Martin Richardson.Dugswell222/11/2014
Chestnut tree is probably a P30 on its own. With dgswll2.Martin R22/11/2014
Horse chestnut gets my vote. Fence corner 40m to N is lower than houses which are lower than chestnut. Completes the Rotherham Tumps list for me.RHW15/08/2014
Far end of Boyd Rd (off Flintway) near gate into Wath Wood, next to huge horse chestnut tree.Aye Jimmy30/07/2014
