As grumpy. Decent parking by double gates, 200m S. of RoW - Up RoW to path junction on S. ridge at SE 55448 90204 & then N. along narrow path through heather to unmarked summit. Noticed the concrete ring at the bottom of the hollowed-out cairn, but had no idea of its significance until reading cjo's log. | gerrybowes | 06/03/2024 |

A nice hill. From SE 54355 89867 road junction parking area at Hawnby. Up south ridge from RoW and down to NNE to gate at SE 55423 91217 to get back to the RoW. | Alan Moore | 29/08/2020 |

There is a feint path along the ridge from the ROW to the S. Also a very feint path off the N end but would be very difficult to spot in current bracken. If approaching from the N, it is not far from a gate onto the access land and the path itself is at SE 55323 91028 | carole engel | 27/08/2018 |
Approached from the North east as part of a circular walk from Hawnby church. Cairn on top though HP is c 40p North. Thick heather with a few narrow paths connecting bird feeding stations. Nice views on a clear sunny wintry day in melting snow. | Denise | 03/12/2017 |
