Parked north of start of ROW, took to field up faint path to tree at summit and along fence a bit to topgrumpy15/01/2024
From unsigned parking area to WNW at SE 4978 8058 (same as for Hood Hill) along road for about 600m to start of RoW - Over stile & along RoW to area between two small lakes (inquisitive young bullocks, one of which was a bit too frisky) - Turned right, under bwf, S. along fence line & under another bwf - Turned right along edge of field & this takes you to within about 20m of summit; arable crop.gerrybowes03/05/2023
Along the Prow and then through wood on animal tracks. Return down field to gate by PROW at road. Was also going to inspect Kilburn hill but a shoot was in progress.cjo21/01/2023

Plum view of the white horse but forgot the camera.Wycombe Wanderer05/06/2021
Parking on the roadside immediately before the footpath from the west leaves the road. At the first fence continue along the indeterminate path keeping to it as it loops upwards. If you follow it to the top it enters the summit field unhindered. If not, come back this way.moorsman14/04/2021
Loop from Acre House, to the superb hood hill then south down easy ground to less good Ward Oak Hill and a sunken FP back to Acrenordicstar03/05/2018
Snowy domed hill approached from North on muddy track. Nice views and bright skiesDenise 02/12/2017
From Killburn via muddy farm track, foot path then fence line. Levellish summit field recently ploughed / tilled with 5cm covering of wet snow.RichardM02/12/2017
With Dusty... easy and ploughed field with new crop just sprouting.vegibagger26/11/2017

From Kilburn. Up bw then SW alongside fences before across grass to summitMoorponder15/08/2017
The ROW unusable because of mud. So perfect excuse to stay in field to gate just past the summit.Martin R01/03/2017
7 Tump circular walk from Kilburn with Darren. A strange digital mapping confusion on this summit where the contours on Darren's smartphone map changed from 10m to 5m intervals (which made the S top look higher on map, which we visited as well but it its not higher) The intervening 5m contours disappeared on Darren's screen as they progressed northwards.Chris Pearson26/07/2016
from White Horse bank car park, with Kilburn Hill, Hood Hill, Oak Hill & Thicket Hilljoseph mitchell13/10/2015
Public f/p sign to SW. Parking spot about 100m to W opposite a gate. Summit a rounded top of a freshly turned field on N side of fence. Alternative high point about 150m to SE was lower according to GPS.Aye Jimmy07/10/2014
