3rd and final tump on an 8.5 mile traverse from Scarborough hospital, climbing Seamer Beacon and Olivers Mount, taking the road then descent through Oliver's Mount plantation to reach Weaponess park. Took Knox lane through golf course then used farm track past gate with barbed wire around it then past the gorse and up a brambly bank to reach the flat field. Field ctr looked just as high. Visited corner with rocks at field edge. Continued to visit high ground on East side of the A165 but it was only around 110m as specified on the map. Continued to walk, dropping onto the Cleveland Way, meeting Lesley at the Star Disc. We continued to the cliff lift, taking it upto the promenade then over the bridge into town.Dazingdale29/12/2019

Field to SE full of impenetrable oil seed rape. Access via field to north - not thru gate (leads to more oil seed rape) but over fence-less banking where vegetation trodden down SE 0462 8594. Then to path (trodden grass) at SE 04545 85913 thru gorse to nettle infested banking - wear trouserscarole engel07/07/2018

Best drive I've had on a golf course for a few months. Parked just after double bend. Up lane to where it flattens out and then round field edge to top. Returned down through gorse.Campbell Singer11/10/2017

With Sail. Driving across the golf course felt a bit weird! There's a summit cairn over the barbed wire fence in the corner.Dangerous Dave14/11/2015
Off A165 at College Lane to N of hill, then L onto metalled road across golf course and followed Moorsman's route. Summit by fence with gorse bushes behind.Aye Jimmy11/01/2015
Metalled road across golf course allows access as far as the double bend. Parking available here. Don't try any short cuts as route to the summit is very easy. Just follow the road, pass through an old barbed wire gate (go round it) and walk to the top of the hill. Here there is an easy field-side walk to the top.moorsman04/01/2015
Drove south through the golf course and found place to park car. Followed track to top. Hard to determine exact high point, but covered lots of ground to make sure.bolieve21/09/2014
