Went from Grindle straight to the top, on the way down back to the path there were a lot of thistles. With Dad and Miles. | speedyclimber | 07/04/2023 |
3/3 Took direct route from Grindle with Felix and Miles which is steep but no problem in dry conditions. Nice tump to finish the day. Direct descent W from summit was even steeper and a battle through gorse. Felix's 150th tump! | RoguePulsar | 07/04/2023 |

Beautiful 10.3 mile 2995ft of ascent walk from NT car park at Carding Mill Valley m(free for members - alternatively £4 per day in Church Stretton centre). Carding Mill Valley taking the east fork following the Jack Myton Way, Pole Bank, descent to Little Stretton along the ridge and easily bagging Grindle and Callow along the way, then Ragleth Hill and return through Church Stretton. This route includes a significant part of the Stretton Skyline Walk. After a coffee break at the NT cafe took the car to the car perk near Yearlet for a pleasant and easy ascent of the final hill within the area encompassed by this circuit. | ijpowell | 27/05/2021 |

From Little Stretton up the track bagging Callow and Grindle and then onto Pole Cottage and back down the glorious Ashes Hollow. | greboicus | 16/10/2020 |
Pleasant deviation off the wonderfully routed path that runs high above Ashes Hollow, then Callow Hollow. Used the easy N ridge both up and down. This is great walking country. Sunny most of the day, with a strong breeze making it feel cool. | pwheeler | 26/09/2020 |

Part of a post-lockdown walk with Lindsey on a hot sunny day. Parked in Little Stretton at SO439920 near Small Batch campsite (which was closed due to the pandemic). Followed the gravel farm track to the coll at SO430922. From there we walked up to the summit of Callow and back. We then followed the farm track on to Cross Dyke at SO425928 then descended steeply to Ashes Hollow on a narrow path. We then walked out alongside the stream back to the car - a very beautiful valley and virtually deserted. | Skip | 31/05/2020 |

Clockwise circular route from Watling Street, Church Stretton, via Ragleth Hill and Little Stretton. Followed trail next to Small Batch caravan and camping site up a fairly steep ascent heading slightly past summit before heading back up a track to summit. Continued onwards to Grindle. | muzza2 | 16/02/2019 |

Birthday walk from Little Stretton taking in Callow, Grindle, Pole Bank and Yearlet. Sunny, no wind, still some snow patches left from last week so no traffic on the minor road - lovely. | milimana | 18/12/2017 |
