Almost impossible to park in Hafod Lane but a passing place next to a gateway had to do for a quick bag, N. along lane then via stile at SJ24362767 and fp. Lots of ferns but grass track just below, the on ridge- good local views.pwheeler02/05/2023

Lovely spot with path from north up grassy ridge with trig on a bright cold day. HP small mound near trig. Some gorse and bracken if you don't follow path.Denise 22/11/2020
From the lane to W, initially along RoW then S unhindered over sheep pasture with bracken. Great views.RichardM22/11/2020
Parked in pull-in to the West SJ242273. Quick up and down. No problem in the bracken off season.David Evans27/04/2019
Also intrigued by recess on trig.ngthack19/02/2019
Trig bagging. Steep climb for good views.David Bremner30/10/2018
Obvious route from west.Wycombe Wanderer06/09/2018
Should have taken Aye Jimmy’s advice on how to avoid the bracken. Waded through head high ferns to reach an obvious path near the top. Followed this on descent and then walked south along lane back to car.Campbell Singer24/08/2018
From passing place in lane to W. Gate into field, at first NE then S avoids the bracken. Nice summit and trig with unusual cavity in it.Aye Jimmy15/10/2017
First time doing the trefonen across the Cynnlaith walk. Only the 10 miles this time, for the sake of BannerzBaggins. Prodded up by walk organisers as we had started late! I like this hill - it is ok.tumpawumpa27/05/2017
Part of Trefonen hill walk. I found it hard but was victorious and am now aching. With tumpawumpaBannerzBaggins27/05/2017
I agree with tumpawumpa. OK hill. Oddly enough I had a political debate up here also. I was exploring the possibility of doing the 'Across the Cynllaith' hill walk topless with 'Corbyn for King' painted on my chest. We live in a blue world.nwormgage27/05/2017
Popped up here for a political debate in my break. Don't know own why as I will be back up here tomorrow for the trefonen hill walktumpawumpa25/05/2017
Small pull-in on the road to the west. Head upwards via the stile at the start of the footpath 100m to the north. This means you that you can ascend unnoticed. From the top head straight downwards to the gate opposite the parking spot. 852m round trip. 15 minutes.moorsman17/05/2017

Branched off Offas dyke on B4380. Took minor track heading south and then used track to Pant-y-ffynon that then leads to a footpath around the property and a stile. I then followed the grassy track to the trig point. Lovely 360 degree views. I headed back the same way but used the footpath bypassing the track leading onto same minor track.Dazingdale02/11/2013
