From where the bridleway exits the wood, NE over cattle pasture to pleasent grassy summit with old Yew, a few Oaks and numerous wind stunted Larch. High point flattened cairn on E side of fence. Mini earth works on W side of fence. Good views.RichardM30/11/2017
Route as described by clivevilla. Summit seems to be well defined stony mound just inside loose copse, mostly of yew trees.Aye Jimmy20/10/2017

From Browns coppice a clear track gives way to a muddy squelch up through trees. Top pastures are lovely though and summit is a half decent spot.. dare I say it -oh yes-. The view to Earls hill is in itself a startling revelation. Summit looks to be an ancient hedge mound. There's one particularly gnarled hawthorne which looks to be the highest ground.stig_nest14/04/2016
Parked in Oaks, followed the track and then cut up to the summit. Several rocky bits that look similar height.clivevilla21/02/2016
