Walk after a 5 mile road race in Tewkesbury 29:02. Went up Midsummer Hill from Hollybush on to the Obelisk then Swinyard Hill and Herefordshire Beacon. Returned similar route but bypassed the summits. Time taken 2 hours 16 minutes for 5.84 miles and 1305 feet of ascent. Weather sunny spells but quite windy. Lots of people on Herefordshire Beacon much quieter on the other hills.isabelle05/11/2023
Big day out, started at Tank Quarry car park, climbed up onto End Hill, then down to Table Hill, Sugarloaf Hill, Worcestershire Beacon, Summer Hill, Pinnacle Hill, Herefordshire Beacon (British Camp Hill Fort), Millennium Hill, Hangmans Hill, Swinyard Hill, Ragged Stone Hill, Chase End Hill then went round to Howler’s Heath before looping back round and making the long journey back also bagging Midsummer Hill and finally North Hill before descending back to the car park, all told 21 miles, over 6000ft elevation gain in just over 6 hours.lboutside05/09/2023

Malverns day walk with Helen. Route was Wynds Point, British Camp, Hangman's Hill, Swinyard Hill, The Gullet, Midsummer Hill, Raggedstone Hill, Whiteleaved Oak, and Chase End Hill. Breakfast at Sarah's snackbar, started walk at midday. Had lunch beside the trig on Chase End, back at snackbar by 4.30 just before it closed. Approx 7 miles with 1990 feet ascent. 9 mile walk from minor road east of Swinyard Hill, followed path to east of ridge passing British Camp reservoir and onto Herefordshire Beacon (4th visit), followed ridge south to Swinyard Hill and well signposted footpath around to Midsummer Hill via the obelisk, descended down to A road then steep tracks up onto Ragged Stone Hill, descended then ascended onto Chase End Hill, followed paths and minor road back to car.
