On ROW from West (15,4) | vegibagger | 04/11/2020 |
Circuit from the summit of Killhorse Lane, E to Hanway Common, down lane to the interesting St Bartholomew's Church, then W on Herefordshire Trail, diverting to the field edge top. The track through the wood is gated at both ends and so possible to avoid bwfs entirely. | milimana | 07/08/2020 |
Ludlow - Mary Knoll - Bringewood - High Vinnalls - Evenhay Hill - The Goggin - Ludlow. | Mark Jackson | 06/08/2020 |
Parked at Rock road junction to E, pleasant walk past historic church, though Richard's castle earthworks not easily accessible, along wooded ridge to grassy clearing at HP, excellent views. | Denise | 30/06/2020 |
From Rock, RoW past ancient church to col, brambly track into wood then up through mixed deciduous trees to high point in adjacent field. Ridge of fresh manure heaped near summit. Good views. Blood everywhere as Denise stabs her finger on the barbed wire fence. | RichardM | 30/06/2020 |
As clivevilla. | Campbell Singer | 04/02/2020 |
Ditto from road over footbridge. No sign of the bull.
Surprised how sparse the brambles in the wood were. | PeterD | 07/08/2016 |
As for clivevilla | arranc | 08/04/2016 |
From W, path to NW corner of wood, summit at fence at SE edge of wood. Bramble fairly light - in Feb at least | RHW | 13/02/2016 |
From the road over fb up across field then right into woods and up to high point at edge of field the other side of the woods. | clivevilla | 21/09/2014 |
From Richard's Castle en route to Ludlow. | summitsup | 19/10/2013 |
Almost certainly visited when prowling around Bringwood and Richard's Castle as a child. The name is totally wrong - The Goggin is a valley, hamlet and pass below. | fasgadh | 01/06/1973 |
