Parked at SO 611 378 for an evening circuit of Little Hill (up track, then W side of pheasant pen; no pheasants about) and Canwood Knoll. Also visited the outdoor sculpture park (but everything is a bit out of my price range! | PGCE | 16/07/2022 |

From the S, slipping round the first locked gate on the road to Checkley, then track NW. Where this peters out and just before the conifer cover ends headed more steeply up to reach upper contouring track. Followed this left and over ridgeline to find the westernmost field corner. Then easy field edge SE to hp. | milimana | 21/08/2019 |
Cycled from Putley Riding School. Left bike in woods to E, for Canwood Hill. Bypassed gate to E of Botany Bay (Cottage), via gap in hedge to E (left). Up track until see pheasant enclosure. Steeply up bank and follow fence to track on ridge, left to summit. Saw no one. | Minto | 04/08/2018 |
Parked at start of track to ESE. Climbed gate and headed up track. Should have gone up side of pheasant pen but hadn't read earlier posts so continued on until I met another track that headed back towards the summit. Returned by heading down the side of the pen to the track I had come up on. Then on to Canwood. | Herbert Anchovy | 10/05/2017 |
Parked at 608381 up track which bends round to the left then up path by the side of chicken wire pheasant enclosure. Just as I reached the top a young gamkeeper ordered me off as it is private land belonging to Rupert Foley. I just googeled him and he is as obnoxious as you might expect. | clivevilla | 29/03/2017 |
