From viewpoint parking to the S. The foot of the aforementioned yew tree can be accessed by a short scramble from opposite the barn.milimana16/06/2018

Walked up from Fownhope, intending to visit this hillfort and Cherry Hill in one trip. In the end this one was so nice in the sunshine that I spent the time here instead of rushing off. Decent earthworks, good views of the Forest of Dean and the inevitable May Hill.thesweetcheat12/08/2017
From P at SO590323. Visited all possible high points and would put a firm bet on the yew tree in the fenced compound at SO595329.summitsup17/04/2017
From small car park by Capler Lodge (with benchmark) to S. Couple of possible HPs: SO 59110 32976 gave 187m; SO 59516 32938 only 183m but seemed higher - vagaries of a handheld GPS. Trig pillar ~200m ESE.jonglew02/04/2017
Old yew in a small, fenced off area at 59516 32938 looks to be hp to me.clivevilla29/03/2017

Popped up here after completing the Capler to Mordiford section of the River Wye pisciverous bird survey. Same route as others. Seemed to be two possible tops, one on the edge of the fort and another one to the east.Herbert Anchovy16/03/2016
