Parked at Village Hall and walked through the fascinating village. The village was the site of an 18th century ironworks where the world's first iron boat, a barge, was built in 1787.DC11main24/03/2023

As for Laura Warranc17/07/2016
Having been suitably amused arriving in Willey village we followed the bridleway up to summit. Very indistinct amongst head high nettles. The sunken lane reminded me of many similar lanes in Dorset. Willey estate is an impressive looking site.stig_nest23/06/2016
Walked from the Willey end of bridleway. Summit somewhere in a sea of nettles. A nice stroll.Laura.W23/06/2016
Hill top conveniently crossed by bridleway. High point in easily accessed woods on W side of bridleway, a few brambles to contend with. Limited views though you can glimpse the impressive Willey Hall to the S.RichardM13/04/2016
From NE along track, fp which becomes a sunken track. Summit is then off to the right but could be anywhere on a flattish area.clivevilla23/03/2016
From SE. Flat summit area; ground probably lower E side of RoW but visited anyway.RHW15/03/2015
