Logged Descriptions  (logged by 14 users)ByDate of Ascent
As others parked on verge near phone box outside ‘wind and sun’. Amused by sign on gate saying this is not a public footpath but a Bridleway. Stile into woods and up to Yew tree at top. Went to nearby mound a short distance to NE but slightly lower.PeterD24/02/2024
Parked by phone box in Upper Hill, then bridleway to S of hill, field edge and stile into woodland. I agree that the large yew marks the hp.milimana30/05/2023
As others, from Upper Hill. Initially on ROW, then up to wood and summit.PGCE20/01/2021
HP is by large Yew on ridge, just to the north of a fence and rough track within Ramshill Wood- mixed deciduous, with some brambles. Approached from RoW to South. Grouse feeding stations. Lovely sunny frosty morning.Denise 29/10/2018
From the bridleway to the S. Over sheep pasture, BWF, then easily up through trees to summit ridge. High point a red sandy bank with large Yew. No views. Superb morning of hard frost, bright sunshine and no wind.RichardM29/10/2018
