Parked in lay-by then up track into wood. Found concrete reservoir then track of sorts to summit in tangle of Rhododendrons.Dugswell229/09/2018
From lay-by to the east. Along hedge tunnel and into wood. Up through rhodie jungle. Some rhodies suffering from drought. No flies.Campbell Singer24/08/2018
Easy one from layby on main road, lots of horse flies and no view from top, excellent !heavyhorses03/07/2018
Long overdue venture up pimhill. Pimple-like summit. Nice, compact walking area. Fantastic quarry to North, be careful. With RP and two whippets.tumpawumpa19/02/2018
Nice woodlands, path to summit in Rhododendrons.PeteF27/08/2017
From GA's 129m spot height, gate with clue 'Pimhill Woodland' leads into leafy lane. Followed round left to near water tower then up to summit. Last 30m a bit of a challenge in summer.Aye Jimmy18/07/2017
2nd of three hills today. An out out and back to Haughmond hill from Shrewsbury then train to Yorton, walking to Harmer hill, taking Pim hill lane then over fence to follow field edge up until footpath reached thats cuts through the woodland. Nice cutting with bluebells on the banks. Found a cut path through the rhododendrons to the summit area, a decreasing clearing slowly being strangled by rhododendrons. Summit is close to clear area but i spent 5 minutes climbing in and out of branches to make sure. Descent to footpath to A528, over farmland to Rabbit hill, minor lane West of Yorton heath, over railway to Grinshill for final hill.Dazingdale30/04/2017
Easy access from A528 via footpath along ancient lane. Luxuriant vegetated summit has a rain forest feel about it. Helicopters buzzing overhead. Not a bad little hill.RichardM01/02/2017
Encroaching rhododendron made this quick up and down route within small pine and beech copse feel jungly. lay by at path/road junction.Denise 01/02/2017
From South, pulled in rather than parking on road. Followed very good path anticlockwise through pleasant woods. Summit is a bit scruffy. No views. 1st of 9 today in lovely weather with Laura.w.stig_nest05/05/2016
With stig_nest. Lovely quiet wood, good path.g gorgeous weather!Laura.W05/05/2016
Parked on A528 more or less opposite a gateway, across the pasture then more steeply up through the woods.clivevilla03/03/2016
Also from Pt.129.GA's southerly track is hard to find under fallen leaves but simply keep fence to left as it bends south.Pleasant wood on unpleasant day.catman09/11/2015
Full circuit of the hill including summits in a walk after work. Bluebells nice, but whole hill is infested with rhododendronsNormski12/05/2015
