Wide grass verge for parking at entrance to Ewdness Manor (SO 7331 9829). RoW initially, the across sheep pasture. Trig pillar first, then on to hill top. | jonglew | 16/04/2023 |
Parked at SO 73317 98259 and followed the RoW to the sharp bend where I carried straight on up the field. A couple of Chinook helicopters thundered overhead virtually skimming the trees; it was quite spectacular. I guess the farmer at Oldington Farm also saw the Chinooks (and me) and set off on a half mile trip across the field in order to admonish me. After a bit he mellowed and gave me directions to the top on the proviso that I will not come back again; I readily agreed. | DC11main | 24/03/2023 |

Walked through main gates of Apley Estate, walked through woods to the East, passing hundreds of pheasants. Got to trig point then up to the highest point, then dropped down steep bank to Apley house. Crossed the white bridge to cross the River Seven, then followed river back to Bridgnorth.
Beautiful place. | whiteuss | 21/11/2021 |
From E as others. ROW, then along N side of hedge. Over gate into woods and track to top. Visited trig on return. | PGCE | 23/09/2021 |
HP at edge of Apley Terrace track near large yew. Trig also visited. approached from E, parking at wide track entrance. | Denise | 04/01/2021 |
From the E, first the trig then the summit. Nice group of Yews on W edge of summit but disappointed I couldn't see the Severn below - perhaps I didn't look hard enough. Fresh quad tracks on Estate ridge top track. | RichardM | 04/01/2021 |
From east as others. Along north side of hedge into woods and track to top, back to find trig. | PeterD | 26/09/2020 |

7th top of 9 today, having visited Hob Hill, Puleston, Chetwynd Park, Lilleshall, Redhill and Lizard. I parked at the layby on the road then used the footpath, under the swaying Willow tree then up grassy track beside field edge to gate, giving access to the track leading to the summit. Back the same way. Onward to Hermitage Hill... | Dazingdale | 09/11/2019 |
From the E as clivevilla, track past the Manor house, under weeping willows by pond then along hedge line into wood. Summit first then trig. | Aye Jimmy | 01/06/2019 |

PROW then field of sheep via trig pillar | cjo | 21/12/2018 |
As Herbert Anchovy. Good parking at start of fp. Field full of sheep. Over point to point jump and onto good woodland track to top. | Campbell Singer | 21/08/2018 |
Parked on verge at start of manor track. RoW not marked on the ground. Then up tram lines in arable crops to woods and path to high point. The adjacent field was being mown but think I managed to get up unobserved. | Herbert Anchovy | 20/06/2018 |

An easy walk from the east past the Manor with two gates to open with Alex and Smudge then bag down to use the gate to bag the trig at the edge of the field. | Dugswell2 | 15/01/2017 |
Carbagging with Dugswell & AC. As per Stig & others. Route is visible from nearby farm buildings and manor house. | Smudge | 15/01/2017 |

Much the same as Clive. I would point out that the summit is easily accessed through a gate at top of field. Returning to this gate and then backtracking along the field in the direction of summit brings you to the trig without any need for scaling fences. If the summit area is ever cleared of trees the view will be a stunner. | stig_nest | 30/06/2016 |
With Stig who once again talked to the farm animals and got licked by one of the moocows. If he was a badger badger badger he would have been shot by now.
summit easier to locate than the trig pillar. Nice views though rain coming... | Laura.W | 30/06/2016 |
Parked in wide entrance to FP to the east. Walked on that FP then continued on that line along a field edge to the top of the field. At the top of the field there is a track heading along the ridge inside the wooded area. This avoids a fence but, if you wish to bag the trig too, you cannot avoid at least one fence. | clivevilla | 23/03/2016 |
From SO 73379 96214 on public FP then along the NW side of the hedge from SO 72975 98014 returning along the Terrace path to follow field edge from SO 72751 97250 thence to rejoin the public FP. Shame that this superb area is privately coveted. | summitsup | 10/04/2015 |
From E, summit just inside wood. Some way N of trig hence revisit. | RHW | 15/03/2015 |
ROW from east. | arranc | 28/02/2009 |
