From SE. Not the most dramatic hill | RobertP | 27/11/2022 |
Same route as DE going to reservoir, trig and Then to HP. Last bit of FP obscured by crop. | PeterD | 10/08/2022 |
Parked to SE at start of ROW. Visited reservoir (fence breachable in NW side, or could have gone over gate). Then N to ROW. Past trig (in hedge, N of reservoir) then field boundaries to summit. | PGCE | 24/07/2022 |
Parked to SE at pull-in by start of p/f at road corner SJ421290. Visted reservoir first, found trig in hedge then on to summit. | David Evans | 01/07/2022 |

Revisit for W summit. RoW from SE, first section undefined, beeline across crop to stile. Highpoint is 0.4m hedgebank: arguably natural highpoint is lower than E summit. | RHW | 16/04/2021 |
via trig ;pillar which is now located in a hedge line next to track on PROW | cjo | 25/08/2019 |
Trig bagged as well. | ngthack | 18/02/2019 |
From the fp start to s. Farmer scarifying stubble field. Very friendly bloke. Advised that I go to trig for huge view on low hill. Good advice. | Campbell Singer | 24/08/2018 |
Parked at village Hall and walked to RoW/farm track.

Nothing much to say on this one, its one redeeming feature is that you get a trig at the same time ! | heavyhorses | 03/07/2018 |
Easy from bend in road to S at start of f/p. Field edge to reservoir corner then out into dry stubble. Area further N towards hedge looked as high as official HP. Then a fun half hour trying to find trig in high crop in next field, failed. (Later note: found out that trig has been moved to side of field!). | Aye Jimmy | 18/07/2017 |
4/6 day of Shrumping with nwormgage. This is the worst park I've ever been to. I didn't enjoy this hill, felt awkward going through the farmyard and up the track. Did not find the trig point but ascended a couple of candidate tops in the fields next to the reservoir, including one that required some delicate navigation of the wheat (?) [trying to not damage anything!]. A friendly goose let me into the reservoir for a look around. Allergies ensued. | tumpawumpa | 31/05/2017 |
Confusing. Reservoir higher than tump. Certainly not fit enough to climb pointy fence, alas, skipped merrily like naughty Theresa May through the wheat fields to what I assume is tump summit. With tumpawumpa | nwormgage | 31/05/2017 |
Track from farm then field boundary to covered reservoir in fenced enclosure. Farmers tending sheep in nearby field. | RichardM | 01/02/2017 |
Parked in farmyard and spoke with lady from red brick house. She was disappointed recently when someone came to trig and had 2 dogs off the leash trampling through crops.. have some thought/ respect folks. Met an stw van on way down as we climbed. Must have missed resv access by 5 minutes. | stig_nest | 05/05/2016 |
With stig_nest. | Laura.W | 05/05/2016 |
Easy bag from field edges to south. | clivevilla | 27/08/2015 |
From SJ 42174 29049. Third of three in an uncharacteristic grab raid. | summitsup | 08/08/2015 |
From S via field edges. Previous (resr) summit. | RHW | 14/03/2015 |
Reasonable view. Sheep nearby. As is a trig point. | stig_nest | 15/02/2015 |
