Via track from church.JohnIvor16/07/2019
easy to shimmy under gate or climb over.Adrian02/03/2019
Parked near the church and followed excellent track to compound which is very well fortified. Not as slim as Aye Jimmy. Walked round.Campbell Singer24/08/2018
By chance an engineer was working on the comms array which enabled easy access. We walked up some stone steps to the top of the grass sided reservoir. In front was some domed grass but probably not natural and hard to say where the natural Hp was. Parked by church on east side of A49 in Prees.Denise 07/08/2017
Easy access to compound as an Engineer present. Covered reservoir probably on the natural high point of this flat topped hill.RichardM07/08/2017
Walked up lane from the church. Squirmed under gate of compound at right hand side, reminded me of caving squeezes! Highest at grassy knoll; smaller one near foot of steps looks similar height but artificial.Aye Jimmy26/05/2017
7th and final hill of the day on a route from Wem to Prees station. I Visited the high ground on the Sw side to arrive at the gates but just didnt have time to thoroughly visit it including climbing over gates so have not ticked this one. I had 12 minutes to get the train. An elderly lady with dog said she would ask her friend Penney to help and as a result i got to the train station with 3 mins to spare; the 17.50 train to Shrewsbury, change for BNS then Nottingham.Dazingdale01/05/2017
Parked on the road to the north of St Chad's Church then bagged its cut mark before checking out the reservoir.Dugswell224/03/2017
Luckily some workmen there so able to gain access to top of reservoirAlan Caine08/02/2017
No one working today so had to make do with a walk around the outside of the fence.heavyhorses09/05/2016
Somebody was working there so managed to get in. He thought I was mad. Possibly correct.andrew brown05/05/2016
Last of 9 today with Laura.w. parked near lane end and followed fp across field. Compound is very secure with that tough to climb green fencing. Id suggest the ground inside is all artificial anyway.stig_nest05/05/2016

Luckily there was a water man working there and he let me go up on to the top of the reservoir on condition I did not urinate. I agreed to this and also walked around the edge of the fence surrounding the reservoir.clivevilla02/12/2015

HP seems to be in compound just N of mast, but ground may have been modified, and only a foot higher than at fence. Feasible to squeeze under gate :-)RHW14/03/2015
From Prees Church. Highest point is man made covered reservoir - but unable to access because of 2.5 m high security fence. Explored the entire compound perimeter and think that the highest 'natural' (and accessible) bit is either near the S corner of the fence (just in the wooded bit above a pond) at SJ 55867 32994 or by the fence junction just N of the pond at SJ 55900 33016. A not very satisfactory tick.summitsup20/02/2015
