|Parked in the entrance to a gun club (W of the summit) and then hopped over the gate. Short walk over sheep grazed grass to two dome shaped tops. I think the first is the higher.||Herbert Anchovy||04/02/2015|

|2pm parked parallel to main road within wide entrance demarcated with white stones. Before I could get maps together and just go into their driveway and simply hoof it up grassy field for 3-400 m and 30-40m of ascent a 4x4 vehicle stopped in the entrance way with engine running. I ignored it even though I expected she wanted to talk with me and continued my prep. eventually I closed my door and then she honked her horn to make it clear she wished me to go over to her car to talk to her. Immediate GOML stuff saying this was a private driveway to a private estate and pointing out that there was a lay by quarter mile down the road.
Needless to say I didn't tell her I intended to go up the little grassy field hill on the estate in case she didn't like it.
Just for an easy life said I'd go down to lay by which meant a walk back up very busy road as A436 is effectively a Cheltenham Bypass to Gloucester and beyond. Not easy as the grass verge narrowed between estate wall and road.||vegibagger||25/07/2014|
