As most, fron Coopers Hill quarry (car park). Botheridge Hill, I thought, with confusing path signage and having to crawl under that fence- though it wasn't any trouble and meant the trespass was out of sight. The beechwoods are fine, though.pwheeler25/07/2023

Parked in Cooper's Hill car park (cheese rolling fame: see the YouTube videos!). Summit field easiest to access at NW corner: SO 8909 1401.PGCE29/03/2021
Parked at the small Cooper's Hill ( of cheese rolling fame ) car park. Nice walk through the beech woods, then over 1 bwf to the summit by the pole. Maisie's 600th mountain.DanMaisieBex02/09/2020
The FP signs have been removed and I was accosted by two different men for not being on it. The summit field has valuable racehorses in it and one of these men did not want me to spook them. Went round the other side eventually where the fp actually is (or should be) and bagged it from there. I only had to deviate from the fp by one field which seems less heinous than removing fp signs and even the fp itself.clivevilla13/11/2019
Steeply up from Coopers Wood carpark, then through woods and awkwardly out into field beyond with horses. Checked either side of hedge via gap under the old aerial, couldn't say which side was higher.Aye Jimmy17/06/2019
Detour when doing the Birdlip to Painswick section of the Cotswold Way. Followed RichardM's good advice about access, though the crawl under the fence wasn't anywhere near as bad as I anticipated. No horses today, so that was a bonus.milimana16/02/2019
From the Coopers Hill cp and up through pleasant woodland paths. Getting into the summit field not straightforward. Triple bwf/electric fence into field of horses and summit field overlooked by farmhouse. Nevertheless, up and down without incident. Horses very well behaved despite inquisitiveness. Great views over Severn valley.Campbell Singer17/07/2018
Parked to north in Cooper Hill woods carpark. There is a myriad of paths through beech, holly and small grassy glades to access the fenced southern boundary of the community woodland. The HP is in a grassy field immediately to the South, close to a telegraph pole with an aerial on top within the field boundary. A pleasant woodland stroll with nice views from summit.Denise 29/03/2018
Grassy field bounding SE edge of Coopers Hill nature reserve (car park at SO 892,148). Double BWF, hawthorn hedge and electric fence don't make you feel welcome. Field easiest gained at NW corner where at least there is no hedge and a flat out crawl negotiates the fences. Levellish grassy summit crossed by hedge. High point in vacinity of telegraph pole with arial. We settle on the slight grassy rise 15m to the N side of the hedge. OK views of Gloucester.RichardM29/03/2018

Took FP through Brotheridge Farm and then across field to hedge and telegraph pole with a mast. HP a few feet further. A view across to Robinswood Hill and May Hill beyond.PeterD17/05/2015
On farm road to high point in field by hedge with small mast.arranc18/02/2015
Parking on Sanitorium Rd to SW for a round of 3 tumps: Painswick Hill, Nut Hill and High Botheridge. Approached from NW on public paths, then cut across sheep pasture and then a second pasture for the HP near a small radio antenna on field boundary.jonglew19/12/2014
Started off from the SE. There were a few gardens to avoid but I eventually found a path up to a nature reserve which more or less follows the edge of the wood. Slithered under a hedge and I was in the field with the small mast.Herbert Anchovy13/11/2014

Home of the infamous Cooper's Hill annual cheese rolling race. Netflix 'We are the Champions' showcases this suicidal lunacy of sprinting and tumbling down the 180m long steep hill where 8 seconds easily beats Usain Bolt's 100m world record on the flat -but broken bones are the norm!Chris Pearsonblank
