Walk from Rencombe to visit Woodmancote round barrow and Cotswold Park long barrow. Approached Pen Hill from Rapsgate Farm. Nice Cotswolds views and very pleasant top by the trees. From the west, where you can park on the verge and walk up some rough grassland towards the clump of trees. Agree top appeared somewhere near the trig. Seemed a lovely hill in early spring sunshine with the bonus of three brown hares and a large herd of fallow deer. | Herbert Anchovy | 17/03/2016 |
