A 7 km 3 Tump circular walk. / jog from Lower Brailes inadvertently partially replicating the annual Braille’s 3 hills walk: Mine Hill, Brailes Hill, Castle Hill. This last being a potential P30 tump I spotted from close contour study and currently awaiting verification from hb editors.First up and down Mine Hill on field fp. Unusually the hill has two named hovels on either side ( smorel hovel and oathill hovel) , and a beggers lane, hinting at harsh times for some in the past. | Chris Pearson | 27/03/2019 |
