Visited Trig pillar by doctors then gentle search through village for high spot. Like the windmill. | cjo | 17/12/2023 |
Woodland NE of main street is clearly higher than street and POI. Woodland freely accessible past garages opposite pub. Dog-walker confirmed that he believes woodland is highest point in village. No feature, close to fence to SW of woodland bordering houses | henryfm | 16/02/2023 |
Parked near the church & then wandered around the village to the HP as marked. Grassy area between the road & the path at 1 Brae Hill. | DanMaisieBex | 19/09/2022 |
Parked on Green and had a look around the village before starting off on a walk. Very interesting place and well worth a return in better weather | Gareth1886 | 10/12/2021 |
Centre of village after first bagging the trig pillar to the south opposite the health centre. | vegibagger | 25/08/2021 |
Parked by windmill. Wandered around the village and the various highpoints, including mounds at playing field, Brae Hill Cottage and ground behind Verona House. | PGCE | 17/01/2021 |
Had a good wander round and explored the various options. My readings suggested the ground by Brae Hill Cottage marginally higher than the cricket ground ridge, but the land behind Verona house, reached by the stile by the Windmill Street garages higher still, eg SP65413 14114. | milimana | 02/11/2020 |

5th hill of 8 on a 36km traverse from Stone to Bicester, climbing Burn Hill, Waddesdon Hill, Ashendon and Dorton Hill continuing West onto a fp and following this Sw then fp Nw past Chilton park farm into the village. Explored the mound at the back of the church, the man-made mound in the cricket ground edge (man-made) the embankment beside the cricket club @ SP 65566 13911 (187m)beside Brae cottage @ SP 65374 14016 (187m) but the ground behind the houses seemed higher and I got my highest readings there of 188m @ SP 65410 14106 and SP 65405 14120. Grid ref SP 65410 14106 is just inside a long garden. Continued on the road to Muswell Hill... | Dazingdale | 06/07/2019 |

Looked around village, very busy especially around Windmill. GR(est) is in region of Windmill St., junction with Brae Hill maybe. Flashy Tesla S parked nearby. | Aye Jimmy | 25/08/2018 |
As others, explored various high points. | Wycombe Wanderer | 21/07/2018 |
Delightful village. Surprisingly large and functional in an elevated location. Wandered round as summit seems indeterminate but enjoyed the wander. | Campbell Singer | 09/12/2017 |
Went to the bank in Sports Club grounds and also a bank the other side of the track in a pasture. 654140 is on an unadopted road by the fire station. All pretty flat. | clivevilla | 13/08/2017 |
Wandered round this lovely village on a sunny Sunday morning. Worshipers leaving the church service were able to immediately stock up on worldly possessions next door at the antique and collectibles fair. Others who came here with worldly possessions on their mind include the 'Great Train Robbers' who in 1963 hid up in Leatherslade Farm 1 mile to the south. They were partly caught (so the story goes) after fingerprints were later found on a ketchup bottle and a monopoly game they had played with real banknotes to pass the time. Truly - Go To Jail! They were let down by one of their number who reneged on his promise to torch the farm (which one of them had bought in advance) after they fled. | Chris Pearson | 02/10/2016 |
Walk by. | arranc | 28/09/2016 |
Trying to find a pub open Monday afternoon after a walk on Muswell Hill. Fascinating village-my next visit was on a Friday! | pwheeler | 18/04/2016 |
Had a wander around village and as others have said, a few possible HP. Driveway in Brae Hill, the field at back of houses reached past garages in Windmill street and stile. The mound next to cricket club may be marginally higher but also looks man-made. Good views from the Windmill. | PeterD | 31/03/2016 |
Had a walk round the village, a number of possible high points, driveway Brae Hill Cottage on Brae Hill a possibility. | jonglew | 10/03/2016 |
A wander around the village and a visit to the excellent windmill on NW side of hill - extensive views. High point difficult to dertermine but GPS suggests the earth bank in the sports ground behind the church. | RichardM | 02/08/2015 |
After Muswell Hill, this is a lovely spot. Parked up and wandered around. Highpoint could be in various places. Super sunny day. Picked up the trig also to south at field edge. | nordicstar | 15/05/2014 |

A retrospective armchair bag. Luckily when did Muswell Hill HuMP decided on a detour to look around Brill village and windmill and visit the trig. When on or very near the TuMP without realising. | Hillsidenick | 23/05/2012 |
Approximate date - came here when my daughter was young, explored the village thoroughly so almost certainly went over the top. Remember it being particularly lovely with great views. Must go back sometime. | wheresthepath | 01/06/2007 |
