Visited trigpoint and the natural high point.cjo17/12/2023
HP is in (accessible) scrub to N of sunken road, not at POI on S sidehenryfm16/02/2023
Westcott to Haddenham. Scrubby mound N of road seems higher than water compound corner.Smudge27/01/2023
Parked at compound entrance, than did a circuitous route into it via the SW corner. Did the trig & then wandered around, HP could be anywhere really. Exited via the main gates.DanMaisieBex19/09/2022
Surprisingly steep hills around here for cycling! Visited the trig and concluded the grass on the NE edge of the enclosure a reasonably natural high point. A small paved area at the top of the roadside bank is much the same height as anything inside the enclosure.RichardM08/09/2021
Reservoir with trig up on its SW corner accessed from gate at road to SE and easy climb up over wooden fence at corner.vegibagger25/08/2021
Parked in entrance to reservoir. Visited various highpoints suggested, including hill-bagging grid ref on N side of road in wide hedge. Also visited trig point on top of reservoir (compound can be accessed on W side).PGCE17/01/2021
Reckoned natural hp to be corner of compound next to housemaclrc04/10/2020

3rd Hill of 8 on a 36km traverse from Stone to Bicester, climbing Burn Hill and Waddesdon Hill then West into Waddesdon Manor estate detouring to avoid gate because of a Special Event, so headed Wsw then Nw to get back onto a fp heading Sw past 117m spot heights then onto road and into AShendon, pushing through the head height undergrowth into the mound. I recorded 156m @ SP 70305 14069. Climbed over the fence but it was lower. Continuing to Dorton Hill...Dazingdale06/07/2019
Parked at the close. And visited a point on the north side as well as the gates to the reservoir. Good views from the road, but the top just water thingsChinnockC19/05/2019
Church car park to the NE. Gap in fence allows easy access to reservoir compound. Highest point in corner. Trig is on top of reservoir and not visible from the road. Solo.Dangerous Dave10/03/2019
High point next to reservoir, probably among scrub or in the pasture.Herbert Anchovy21/11/2018
Went into compound to check out trig and took reading at E end of compound closest to house. Also at ground in bushes on opposite side of road to reservoir gates as suggested by CS, seemed at least as high.Aye Jimmy25/08/2018

Walked over from Waddesdon Manor with NS. Natural HP good enough for me.Owen B22/04/2018
Natural hp appears to be the raised verge opposite the reservoir gates.Campbell Singer09/12/2017
Walked from church via playing fields, then locked gates as rhalstead, with whom I concur about HP.pwheeler24/11/2017
Parked in v-shaped gateway to reservoir then went around the back to climb the fence out of view. At the fence corner it is easy to climb as there is wood protruding for footholds on both sides. Went to trig on top of reservoir and walked around compound for highest natural point.clivevilla13/08/2017
Clambered over gate to trig hidden on back corner of reservoir. And into hedge on opp side for good measure. Still 'flushed with success' having been allowed into nearby Westcott Venture Park (former RAF airfield) to bag trig by security guard who was fascinated by trigs and the occasional trig bagger who had called by during his 27 years of service. He even offered me a cup of tea.Previous visitors to Westcott airfield who were no doubt considerably more pleased to be there were 35,000 allied Prisoners of War arriving home after being flown out of mainland Europe (often in bombers) during Operation Exodus at the end of WWII.Chris Pearson02/10/2016

Bank opposite side of road reservoir with trig seems highest 'natural' HP.PeterD31/03/2016
Walked around the reservoir, HP at E end of compound on boundary fencing.jonglew10/03/2016
Roadside bank beside the entrance to the reservoir is the highest natural point.Swindon Bagger16/01/2016
Short walk from the church. No needs to enter reservoir compound, obviously man made.rhalstead18/05/2013
