Run from Leamington | lerritt | 16/03/2019 |
5th tump of 6 today, 1st three on a route from Mollington turn to Gaydon (via bus from Leamington) climbing Windmill Hill, Oat Hill and Thorn Hill then bus from Gaydon to Moreton Morell junction with the B4100 to climb Ashorne Hill descending E then SE to reach junction of lanes, heading East to mini-roundabout then NE over the M40, on the very busy Fosse Way, a long stretch with great views of Chesterton Windmill to the East. Relieved to get off the road onto track linking with footpath to the top. Beautiful hazy view of the strangely named Isle of Wight barn to the West with Chamomile flowers in my field of view. Descent NE to link with footpath heading N, Nnw then local dog walking route NE (local with Dog said so) along field edge before heading East on track back onto Fosse Way, heading for Burnt Heath Hill.... | Dazingdale | 23/02/2019 |

Pleasant short walk from Radford Semele; parked at The Valley, map read (don't rely on seeing waymarks) to ensure following direct bw then path, then back via Pounce Hill Farm and Hill Farm. | pwheeler | 17/10/2017 |
As clivella and PeterD, from Solar Farm by Fosse Way. Opposite side of road is gate at start of bridal way past llama pen then footpaths to top. Very pleasant walk on a sunny day. | Aye Jimmy | 19/09/2017 |
Pleasant walk from Redford Semele. | Fred Windsor | 14/07/2017 |
Parked on Fosse Way by entrance to Solar farm. Initially along BW then FP to top and trig. | PeterD | 19/05/2017 |
Naviigational blunder in my haste to beat darkness by taking wrong track leaving Redford Semele. Then compounded by trying to short cut back to correct path around barley field but hedge held me back so around 3 sides to end up close to start point. cut up through sheep fields to summit to avoid alarming farmer / dogs in the dusk at Pounce Hill Farm. if only the sheep would stop bleating so heartily at my presence. Relaxing
correct fpath back as light ebbed away. | Chris Pearson | 13/05/2017 |

Whilst visiting trig point. Good to see that the trig was not lost in the building of the nearby phone mast. Nice peaceful walk once you are away from the busy Foss Way. | Father Ted | 18/02/2004 |
