From Thrumpton. Nice woods and traffic noise not too bad at top.Wycombe Wanderer23/09/2021
Easy parking to SSE, at start of track. ROW, then path into wood. Seem to be a lot of brambles at summit grid reference.PGCE16/09/2021
Up bridlepath from south, then along track just inside wood. Followed for a couple of hundred m and returned along path in field.cjo01/06/2021
Parking spot at 38m spot height near Thrumpton. Took ROW past Hillside Cottage. Incongruous cypress tree seems to mark summit just off the track. 59m ascent. With Evie and TolRoguePulsar25/04/2021

Cycled 4 hills today, bit of a big one, but back before lunch. Brands Hill summit can be reached by following the outside of the field, Breedon hill is beautiful and can be see from quite a way off, Pistern hill, nothing but a tick and the views over the trent valley from Gotham hill were lovely. Woulld have been nice to stop somewhere for lunch, but that's lockdownNicky C11/04/2020
This would have been a lovely walk if it weren't for Storm Dennis! Anti-clockwise circular route from Gotham. Solo.Dangerous Dave15/02/2020
Parked by the school in Gotham and ascended by the footpath from here. A pleasant walk in sunshine with good views. The footpath goes outside the wood, but it is easy to cross into the wood, where there is a muddy path across the high point. There is much bramble and young growth away from the path.JohnW08/02/2020

Lots of opportunity to park on the track just north of Kegworth Road SK525 297. Used for Gotham Hill and Court Hill. For Gotham Hill could have drove up the track to SK520302.David Evans18/08/2019
Good little hill, out and back from Gotham.rhalstead23/03/2019

Drove dirt road to SK 5213 3023. Avoided the RoW along edge of wood in favour of tracks over Cottagers Hill to an indeterminate HP in managed woodland. With Carole Engel.jonglew28/12/2017

Circuit of Gotham Hill and Court Hill, starting in the small carpark outside Gotham church.BobHancock13/07/2017
Parked at free car park in East Leake, followed Gotham Road until reaching the public bridleway next to Rushcliffe Golf course, followed track all the way up to Cottagers Hill/Gotham Hill, no idea exactly where the summit is but somewhere in the woods. Returned to East Leake via Gotham village and same bridleway.muzza211/06/2017
Parked at start of track to south, although you could drive up and park at top. Lovely woods sadly suffering from Ash die back.Mark Sims22/04/2017

Pleasent network of bridleways and footpaths access the hill top. High point appears in woods but it's all quite marginal.RichardM22/03/2016
Up track from south & into wood. The 1:50,000 map calls this Cottagers Hill & Gotham Hill is to the north east. Suspect Batman discovered this tump & renamed it.ngthack10/03/2016
Parked to the north in small side lane off Nottingham road. Walked along bridleway on south flank of hill then into Gotham hill wood. Small well used track off public footpath to left wanders over to high point though public bridleway along southern fence looks as high. This is a lovely hill with great views over Nottingham and the Trent northwards and across to the fens. Well worth wandering around the paths for a couple of hours with plenty of birdlife.mart079702/02/2016
Up the wide track from the SE where there is ample space to park. Into wood and follow paths to indeterminate HP. Interesting information board on WW2 history.Campbell Singer15/01/2016
East Leake to Clifton. Encountered festive adornments to NW of HP.Smudge28/12/2015

Used dirt track from S. Shooting going on in wood to the L at the top. Pleasant little path inside woodland to a high point. There are also a couple of contenders along fence line boundary to SE of the wood.Aye Jimmy20/05/2015
Nice stroll from Gotham recreation ground car park. Path at edge of wood appears to be highest pointRamblingpaul06/04/2015
Lovely hill, almost worth wasting an hour of my life each way on the bus through the Clifton roadworks. Up and down from Gotham village.DanHolme13/02/2015
Parked at top of good dirt road leading up from Kegworth RoadGordonAdshead06/02/2015
2nd hill of Four today on a long traverse from East Bridgford to Wilford Hill, after Court hill just continued on Bridleway onto Wood lane that took me to the corner of the wood and then took track veering off to explore the summit area. Somebody is camping inside this wood. Great sunshine today. Many infant Ash saplings are growing as scrub in the wood.Dazingdale30/01/2015
