From Rushcliffe Halt as a circuit to include Cottager's Hill and a visit to the interesting village of Gothamclimbingkershaw04/04/2017
Bridleway across hill top from Rushcliffe. Large flat and level summit, high point in nice area of pasture with shallow Lynchets and hollows with pieces of Gypsum. Fine views N. though very grey and overcast today. Area has an iron age fort feel about it. I ventured into the very brambly pine forest but quickly decided there was no higher ground there.RichardM22/03/2016
From minor road to north west at 534293. South on fp past Cuckoo Bush wood. Apparently the locals fenced off a cuckoo in a bush to stop it flying away & therefore make summer last longer. However they didn't make the fence high enough & it flew away. Ah well, nice try. At the corner of the wood turn left along a fence to another wood. Blundered about in this for a bit until I think I found the hp.ngthack10/03/2016

From Gotham, past the tumuli. Into the woods past a no entry sign would give you easier access to the top, if you were inclined to trespass, which I of course am not....DanHolme08/08/2015
Somewhere near the path. Saw fenced tumulus on way over.Adrian24/05/2015
