Summit a slightly raised area near the trig, bench and signpost. Nice pond near the top at some good views south. Simple climb from the car park on the A4140 that bisects Fryent Country Park. Very muddy on paths throughout. | Vulcan | 22/01/2024 |

Fryent Country Park car park at TQ 1957 8771 - Followed the Capital Ring path through woodland to the summit by bench & trig point. The woodland is home to some of the many thousands of London's parakeets & the summit pond is a very popular venue for local dog walkers. | gerrybowes | 16/04/2022 |

From South Kenton station, eastwards along section 10 of the Capital Ring circular walk, through Preston Park, various residential streets and along paths in Fryent Country Park, to the pond and trig point at the summit | Mariana Trench | 14/09/2019 |
Run from Wembley Hill HP- some good views from Barn Hill and across Fryent Country Pk, then on to Wakemans Hill Ave. I'm surprised I'd never been to this HP before esp. as there are buses from Burnt Oak where I lived for 7 yrs! | pwheeler | 01/08/2019 |
Trig with good views but HP on west side of nearby pond. Enjoyed lunch on nearby bench under cool blue skies. Within Fryent Country Park. | Denise | 17/01/2019 |
Strange to find a pond on a summit. Fine cold clear weather but views limited by the trees. Late lunch on bench on S side of hill with great views. | RichardM | 17/01/2019 |

Pleasant walk from Wembley Park station and sat on the bench at the summit near to the pond | madaddo | 14/10/2017 |
Walked from Harrow on the Hill. mostly via Capital Ring. Easy to find top with trig as a bonus, views limited by trees, but quiet as had place to ourselves. Continue walk to Wembley Hill, via the stadium and Costa Coffee for elevenses. | Hillsidenick | 13/10/2017 |

From Kingsbury Station then Barn Hill. Pleasant hill for a London top. | clivevilla | 24/05/2017 |
From Wembley Park tube via Barn Hill Road. A genuinely enjoyable hill: the trig point is approached by a grassy rake, and the tarn beyond had a family of mallards and masses of yellow flags in flower when I visited. The bald point behind the bench near the trig looks higher than the alternatives when seen from across the tarn. | Nick Down1 | 18/05/2017 |
Day out on the Tube doing a circuit of the Tumps. From Colindale Tube Station, Wakemans Hill Avenue, Barn Hill and Wembley Hill. Onward via Wembley Park Tube. | rhalstead | 25/02/2017 |
Great hill -lovely park, trig point at the top and views over Wembley Station. 32.6km bike ride on the Brompton sadly in the pouring rain! Kings Cross to Madia Vale then canal towpath all the way out and followed the cycling routes. Three hills bagged: Wembley Hil, this one and Wakemans Hill Avenue. Cycled back fast down the A5. | Fionalevey | 29/01/2017 |
On round of Harrow, Sudbury, Wembley, Barns and Wakemans Hill Avenue Hills. Only Trig of the afternoon. | PeterD | 19/05/2016 |
Approximate date. With J on the Capital Ring. Again on 30/10/2021. | NotReallyABagger | 01/05/2016 |
A pond is a really unusual summit feature to find. Last hill on a brisk walk over 4 four tops. | Swindon Bagger | 26/03/2016 |
Walked up from country park car park. Easy stroll, although mud made it a slippery approach. Quickly attained summit with great views of Wembley, scene of Cambridge United's two superb victories in 2014. Lovely top with slabs of ice still in the scenic pond, despite the rising temperatures compared to the last week of sub-zero values. True summit could be grass behind bench near trig or more likely grass between another bench and the pond, to the west of the pond. Nice to have a proper hill, after spending ages trying to find the top of Hampstead Heath. | pdantic | 23/01/2016 |
From car park on A4140, bagging the Kingsbury passive surface block first. Pleasant wooded top with trig pillar and views SW to the stadium. | jonglew | 05/12/2015 |
Second of a 6-Tump circuit in the area using buses and Tube. Lovely summit in woods with pond practically on the top, and trig point with views towards Wembley Stadium. | Mark Jackson | 19/09/2015 |
With views over Wembley stadium on Jamie's 16th birthday. Happy birthday Trig Pillocksson! | vegibagger | 01/07/2015 |
Part of Fryent Country Park which is a 100 hectares of green oasis incl. meadows, woods, hedgerows and ponds (including a pond on the summit of Barn Hill).A fascinating contrast in adjacent rural/urban landscapes. Walked here through the park from Wakemans Hill Avenue. Next down and past Wembley Arena (youthful memories of football obsession)to Wembley Hill. | Chris Pearson | 29/06/2015 |
On Capital ring trail from South Kenton to Stoke Newington. Very peaceful top with nice pond, woodland and interesting views. Was going to take a pic on timer of me in the hollowed out tree But i couldn't fit in! | Dazingdale | 14/10/2014 |
Harrow to Wembley Stadium. Top beside the bench overlooking pond is my initial impression (another bench adorns viewpoint nearer trig). | Smudge | 17/11/2013 |
Very nice hill. Drove up West Hill road, park less than 100m from top. Strolled up on wet night. Ok view of Wembley. Sudbury hill probably better. This nice top though with trig, woods, small lake. High point is a bench seat, now that's sophisticated. Could do with a few of these in Scotland!! | nordicstar | 12/06/2013 |
From Wembley Park station. Too wet to sit on the bench. Squelchy underfoot. Pleasant spot. | destaylor | 31/01/2013 |
