From friend’s house in East Bridgford.Lionel Bidwell23/02/2018
Parked in East Bridgford and followed path alongside River Trent for a while before heading up onto the track running to the NW of the hill. Followed the path SE past the mast and down to the farm. Private signs here suggest an ascent from the SE direction isn't to be recommended.Wheelsy19/03/2017
Parked at farm and asked permission to walk further along track to highest point but they said its owned by other people but probably fine. Good sunset across the Trent valley.vegibagger22/05/2016
Straight up drive from road to south east. Coming back, I realised I shouldn't have done as it is private. Very early in morning, so got away with it. Not an approach to be encouraged.ngthack10/03/2016
With new A46 it was difficult to get to start point with old road map. Actually should have been easy. Just follow sign to Kneeton, turn left before village and start at Topfield Farm. easy walk using fp and pasture field.Barbara Singer31/01/2016

Short walk across fields from East Bridgford.Ramblingpaul24/01/2016
2nd hill of two today with Lexi Rue, my partner's Labradoodle, having climbed Dewberry hill and finished opposite the ex Harlequin post office. We took a bus to Bingham and then after lunch, the Villager 1 bus to East Bridgford alighting next to the church. We walked along the main road and then took the fp through crops then the bridleway heading East. Lovely undulating bridleway with attractive views. Easy access to track leading to mast. We explored adjoining field to the Nw but pretty flat summit area. Return route was to continue on bridleway east and then follow it down and around, following a high level route overlooking the Trent. The last 250 m was a low level path next to Trent which was very high and the path was flooded at points. We made our way to Gunthorpe bridge and caught the Villager bus back to Nottingham.Dazingdale16/11/2015
