For a real adventure here you could try descending the steep collapsing red clay cliffs to locate the remains of the once popular Labrador hotel and tea gardens (burnt down in 1930s)- reached by boat or 200 steps from the cliff top up and down which Neddy the donkey would go unaccompanied with its panniers into Shaldon for supplies! | Chris Pearson | 04/03/2024 |
Easy one, parked by gate for very short walk to trig on embankment. Nice view of Teignbridge estuary. | PeterD | 04/03/2023 |
Quick sprint out whilst my wife sat in the car (very tolerant of her on Valentine's Day!). Lovely views from the oddly-situated trig; very atmospheric with the sun setting over the slightly misty valleys below. This one's definitely worth a visit if you're passing. | wheresthepath | 14/02/2023 |

Parked adjacent. Odd location for trig. Fortunately it seems people do visit as there is a narrow scrape up the hedgerow to reach it. | ijpowell | 28/07/2015 |
