3/4. After Black Hill on a 2 hr evening walk/jog circular around the eastern-most cluster of 4 urban Torquay Tumps. The orienteer in me liked the direct summit to summit route option from here to Wellswood Hill using the footpath steeply down from this summit, cutting through the houses and across all the contouring roads, and then conveniently straight up the other side on to my next tump. All tarmac and steps (lots) and handrails and occasionally street lights- useful in in the twilight as daylight faded.Chris Pearson12/03/2024
Morning bimble from our holiday cottage near the harbour. No views from summit, but a pleasant walk through the woods just to the north (which oddly had a cream lounge suite laid out in it!).wheresthepath12/02/2023
We parked near the top, bagged, and went for a visit to Torquay Quite a downhill, and uphill, to the town centre from hereChinnockC29/10/2020

Walked up the road and then into a nice wooded area.Alancache18/03/2016
On wooded side of Cedars Road - complete with real Cedar trees. High point at foot of structure with comms mast which I guess once held a water tower. Easy access. No views.RichardM15/03/2016
Up a warren of narrow residential roads in a posh area. At least this top has some trees on one side of the road unlike the other suburban Torquay tops, but not exactly attractive.ijpowell27/07/2015
