Parked on grass verge just NE of 103m spot height (SW 8968 5407). Field gate ~100m SW of the road junc, and another ~200m along the field boundary gets one into the field of interest. No nasty farmers encountered, although b/w wrapped around top of first gate. | jonglew | 25/07/2023 |
Parked in gate entrance to E. looked little used. Over barbed wired gate up field and through open gate to summit in harvested field. Bales of hay in the field. No problems encountered. | Adrian | 13/07/2022 |
From w, 2 gates . Stubbly pasture | RHW | 27/11/2016 |
Just about the most unpleasant farmer I have ever met. I had pulled over and he stopped in his truck to ask me what I was doing. He said the verge was his land. After a heated discussion on his right to question me and the taking of my reg. no. he then drove in front of me for a mile or so doing about 5mph. I found a quiet spot to park about half an hour later and did the deed un-noticed. Ha! | Dusty | 21/04/2015 |
