Logged Descriptions  (logged by 7 users)ByDate of Ascent
I went in to the pasture from a gate to the east and it was a simple walk across this field to the GR given.clivevilla07/03/2023
8th hill of 9 on a 37.8km route from Moorhaven Village to Ivybridge station, climbing Ugborough Beacon, Stalldown Barrow, Hanger Down, Tod Moor, Dunstone Hill, Yarninknowle Hill and Orcheton Hill, using the woodland track then across a field to reach the lane over the A379 and onto the Ridge road, climbing steadily. Easy access via gate then over to NE top in flat pasture. Highest point encountered nearer the hedge boundary. I also ventured into Ermington woods to make sure higher ground was not left unexplored. Woodland top is about 2m lower according to my GPS. Re-traced steps back to pasture top and then continued using gate to gain lane again and onwards to my final top and Erme catchment completion on Whiteley Cross...Dazingdale03/02/2019
